Sekarang ni aku makin addicted dengan blog nih. huh.
Makin dekat nak exam makin kurang masa aku dengan buku.
Apa ni Hani???
Ok, ok, yang ni last. Nanti aku gari laptop guna pedai ayam ('',) takmau bukak dah   [-____-‘']

Korang ingat Iman? That girl yang sangat pandai and sangat cooperative masa kelas dengan doktor Hazem rabu lepas? Hari sabtu lepas dia buat operation jugak, hari yang sama dengan ammu Atif yang aku cerita dalam entri lepas. Aku alternate alternate bilik bedah, kejap bilik 2, kejap bilik 3. haha. Suka hati ja. Serius aku buat OR tu macam aku punya. Takpa lah, demi ilmu kann! (poyonyaa…)

Ok, back to Iman. Sebelum operation tu start, aku belek-belek fail Iman dekat meja tempat gambar x-ray dan imej CT dipamerkan. It was surprising as I read through her past history in brief. Kesian budaknya tapi bila tengok dia in real life, aku tahu yang Iman ni tabah budaknya. Iman Abdul Hamid Abud, umur baru 10 tahun, but she had severe axonal sensorimotor peripheral neuropathy which affects both of her upper and lower limbs. The cause of the affection may be viral. What I read in the history is that she had this problem since birth. This neuropathy makes her limbs weak and thus she had to undergo therapy (i guess) so that she can overcome the myopathy (muscle weakness) and thus helps her to walk normally on her own. Kita bole tengok masa dia jalan, gait (her manner of walking) dia tu tak macam orang lain. And just to know, this neural affection also contributes to her vocal cord paralysis.

So rabu lepas, Iman buat laser cordectomy (you can refer to our ENT department book ). Dia sangat baik. Tak menangis langsung masa doktor nak cucuk jarum untuk bius. Sangat pandai. Dia faham ja apa yang doktor akan buat kat dia. Sometimes when we (the doctors) get patients who are very coopertive, even kita yang doktor ni pon will try our best to not to hurt them. Patients yang tenang actually help a lot in doctor's work. Serabut pon tak serabut. Tenang ja bilik bedah tu. Cumanya Iman ni jujur sikit, dia memang habaq kat doktor bius tu siap-siap jangan masukkan tiub ikut mulut dia (the endotracheal intubation procedure which scared her most). Dan anesthetist tu ikut ja cakap Iman masa tu. I like that anest! He respects his patient eventhough she is just one little innocent girl.
[Cuba dapat kat aku, mau nak kena cepuk dengan kakak doktor nih :P hehe kakak gurau-gurau ja Iman..]

And Alhamdulillah, the operation went well. Hope to see Iman soon :)
